Built in Pipera: Panda Systems launches Startup Match, the mobile game inspired by startup life

One of our Floor 3 members just shipped a mobile game. Startup Match by Panda Systems is a match-3 puzzle game themed around the startup world.

Not every company based at BOC Tower builds enterprise software or consultancy frameworks. Panda Systems, one of our resident teams on Floor 3, ships mobile games — and their latest release, Startup Match, might be the most honest metaphor for startup life we’ve seen built inside a coworking space.

A match-3 game about the startup world

Startup Match is a casual puzzle game for iOS and Android, built on the classic match-3 mechanic. Swipe to connect identical tiles, clear objectives, advance through levels. What makes it stand out is the aesthetic universe it lives in: the tiles are coffee cups, light bulbs, piggy banks, microchips, puzzle pieces, and delivery boxes. The mascot is a unicorn. The difficulty tiers range from Trivial to Extreme.

If you’ve ever taken a startup from idea to launch, you already know that curve intimately.

From Level 1 to Level 360

Level 1 is intentionally gentle: reach a score of 1,000 in 15 moves. The board is clear, the tile variety is low, the objectives are obvious — a controlled onboarding, the kind you’d build for any product where the first five minutes need to convert curiosity into commitment. By Level 360, labelled Extreme, the board is dense with interdependencies: 21 moves, 4 simultaneous objectives, locked tiles stacked three layers deep. The boosters are there. But you’re still operating with limited resources against a complex, shifting system.

The difficulty progression isn’t accidental — it’s designed and calibrated through a scoring system built specifically for this game. Each level carries a complexity label based on objective density, available moves, and tile interaction depth. The team actively measures where players get stuck and adjusts.

Built at Supertree, available everywhere

Panda Systems is a software development company operating out of our Floor 3 coworking area. Startup Match is their first mobile title — available now on the Google Play Store (Android) and App Store (iOS). Development is active, with new content and balance updates shipping regularly based on early player data.
